Meet the care team
Marianne Ray, M.D.
Dr. Marianne Ray comes to Spira Care from a rural health clinic in Kansas where she treated families both in office and in their homes. Seeing the challenges her patients faced in accessing primary care ignited her passion in making primary care accessible to all. At Spira Care, Dr. Ray particularly enjoys working with members who have complex medical conditions or chronic conditions. She works closely with members to clearly explain their diagnosis and the treatment plan.
Dr. Ray grew up in France, and following a lengthy childhood illness, knew that a career in healthcare was her destiny. Her family is truly international as her husband is from Italy, and they enjoy traveling back to Europe to spend time with their families. She even enjoys the transatlantic flights as they give her a rare opportunity to dive into a good book. Aside from traveling, Dr. Ray also enjoys playing the guitar, gardening, and meditating.
